Santa Monica Karma Thegsum Chöling  (KTC) was founded in 2008  as an affiliate center of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, His Holiness the Gyalwang Karmapa’s dharma seat in North America.

Santa Monica KTC is a tax-exempt charitable organization 501c3 dedicated to spreading the Dharma to our community to provide for all levels of practitioners a respectful and open community for the study, practice, and activities of Buddhism of the Karma Kagyu tradition under the guidance of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra and His Holiness the Seventeenth Gyalwa Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
